General Rules
* Bug exploiting/hacking will not be tolerated. First offense - 7 day ban. Second offense - 1 month ban. Third Offense - Lifetime ban.
* Impersonating server staff will result in an instant ban on your account.
* Naming your character as anything that would make them appear as server staff will result in character deletion.
* Anyone found to be purposely crashing the server will be dealt with at the fullest extent possible.
* Players should NOT interfere in any GM matters whatsoever including punishments, banning and so on. If you have any complaint on that GM, report it on the forums.
* Begging for items is not allowed - don't do it.
* Do not go person to person in task area asking for help to kill bosses, it annoys the hell out of everybody you do that to. If you ask for help, do it in /o chat once every 5-10 minutes or so.
Chat Rules
* All default chat channels are English language only. If you want to speak in a different language, then make a channel of your own or use whisper.
* Do not link to any site that contains adult content, sexually oriented material or might otherwise be considered offensive.
* Do not discuss illegal activities. Our server is hosted in the USA and so is subject to US law. Please do not expose us to any unnecessary legal liability.
* Be respectful to other members of the community. Let's face it, players commune on this server from all around the world. There are bound to be people you dislike for various reasons, just keep it off the server. This is a place of relaxation and fun, leave your bias at the door because we don't care to hear it.
* No advertising any other servers, period.
* No cussing/swearing in officer chat. You can swear in other channels and /say. But please dont get carried away because you can be kicked/banned.
Staff Interaction Rules
* Lying to server staff will result in a ban. Just don't do it.
* If a member of the server staff tells you to do something, then do it. Don't argue. If you are being told to do something that violates the rules and without good reason, then use the escalation procedure and report to someone above their head.
* Be respectful to the server staff, they spend their countless hours helping you... for free. You are not in any case to insult a staff member. If you have complaints post it on the forums, not /o.
* If a GM is disrespectful or violating the rules, screenshot the act and speak with somebody above them.
* And please remember, staff are people too. They are players chosen from amongst you to assist you. When they are playing the game, doing quest or whatever else, don't pester them to help you. Submit a ticket and wait to be responded to.
